Margaret Harris
Chicago, Illinois born Margaret Harris has conducted more than 10 major orchestras. She won a scholarship to the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. Ms. Harris is a graduate of New York City’s Julliard School of Music. A child prodigy, she played piano at age 3, and at age 10, played a Mozart Concerto with the Chicago Symphony. Harris was a conductor with the Broadway production of "Hair," in 1970. She’s an accomplished pianist, composer, musical director, and conductor.
