Black Heritage US Postal Stamps and Postal Stamp information is included in this Black History People video.

You'll see the first US stamp to honor an African American in 1940. By 1978, the US Postal service officially started the Black Heritage stamp series recognizing the achievements of individual African Americans.

In 2022, nearly 150 stamps were in the series. Enjoy the video as we walk through some Black Heritage US Postal Stamp highlights.
